Wake up Missing

5/26/2014

Picture
"The most terrifying thing about hitting your head so hard is when you wake up missing pieces of yourself.  Pieces of the person you were before it happened . . . I thought if I went to I-CAN, I'd wake up found.   And all the missing parts of me -- lost balance, scattered memories -- would snap back into place like the jigsaw-puzzle pieces Mom pulled out from under the wicker sofa . . . That was all I wanted. To be whole again." - Cat in Wake up Missing
Cat fell from a tree stand watching birds.  Quentin hit his head playing football.  Sarah says she hit the boards too hard playing hockey.  Ben was thrown from a horse.  They all woke up missing pieces of themselves and they all think I-CAN will help them get the pieces back.
